Rev. George Parsenios, the pastor of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Lexington, MA, is Professor of New Testament at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, where he has also served as Academic Dean. Prior to coming to Holy Cross, he was Professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary for 20 years.  His research focuses on the interaction of early Christianity with the classical world, and he is the author of three books and several essays on New Testament themes.
