Register for the Retreat

Our friends in the greater Washington D.C. area should mark their calendars for a retreat on the same day as the annual March For Life, which is taking place on Friday, January 22. At 4:00 p.m. that Friday after the March, a two-day retreat titled "Pro-Life is Pro-Woman: An Orthodox Retreat on the Sanctity of Life" will open at the St. Nicholas Cathedral, 3500 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, D.C.

The retreat is being sponsored by the Office of the Metropolitan, Orthodox Church in America (OCA) with the blessing of His Beatitude The Most Blessed Tikhon, primate of the OCA and the Seminary's President and Board Chairman. It will feature prayer and worship, educational sessions and discussions, and opportunities for fellowship. Speakers include SVOTS Chancellor/CEO Archpriest Chad Hatfield, and Hierodeacon Herman (Majkrzak), our Liturgical Music Instructor, as well as Author and Speaker Khouria Frederica Mathewes-Green, and Archpriest Eric G. Tosi, OCA Secretary.
